The 2025 Pacific Nations Cup got off to a horendous start. The USA lost to lowely Canada 34-20 in Canada. The USA next game is against the ultra fast and aggressive Japan. The next games is Sept 6th and the game will be played in Heart Health Park in Sacramento California.
The loss to a lower ranked team - canada made the USA tumble 16 points and from #16 ranked to pitafil 18th----and the fall may continue if they lose to Japan.
The USA did not quaify for the last Rugby World Cup and are now in serious jepordy of failing to qualify once again.
